Building a Beloved Community of justice and peace together.

What is the Kingian Nonviolence Network?

The Black Church in America led the 20th-Century Civil Rights Movement with Kingian Nonviolence as its main source of inspiration and discipline.
In modern times, people of all backgrounds and identities (race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, physical ability, age, socioeconomic status) honor that legacy by addressing a plethora of social justice concerns.
Today, we are a community of people and trainers  dedicated to developing the future leaders of our world who will institutionalize Kingian Nonviolence, to create a just and peaceful future.

We are... Strategic. Passionate. Compassionate. Committed. Connected.

We are the Kingian Nonviolence Network.

Kingian Nonviolence starts with Dr. King's 6 Principles and 6 Steps of Nonviolence, and includes meaningful skills and values for interpersonal conflict and community change. Click here to learn more about what is included in the Kingian approach.

We are a network of practitioners, trainer/organizers, and centers. We help each other develop and strengthen our mutual commitments and capacities for the practice of nonviolence, building Beloved Community while raising the level of excellence and effectiveness in our work.

If you are looking for leadership development, training, organizing support, community, or mentorship in your path of nonviolence, join us!   Attend an event, connect on social media, or set up a one-to-one meeting to see how we can build together.

The Kingian Nonviolence legacy provides philosophical and strategic grounding in the black-led Freedom, Civil and Human Rights Movement in the United States. From that foundation, Kingian Nonviolence awakens imagination for building positive peace in all sectors of society.
