Nonviolence in Education Workshop

Robin Wildman, the foremost authority on Kingian Nonviolence in Education, will present an engaging lecture, with opportunity for Q and A, about how classrooms and schools can be transformed into “Beloved Communities”, places where all students are loved, included, and valued as human beings. Kingian Nonviolence (pronounced King-ee-an) is based on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. ‘s philosophy and strategies used to address and reconcile conflict.

This 2-hour virtual experience will be divided into 3 parts:

  • Robin Wildman’s journey to Nonviolence-Meeting her mentor, Dr. Bernard LaFayette Jr.

  • What is the relevance of Kingian Nonviolence education today?

  • How to transform a Classroom and School That Will Improve Climate and Culture-Testimonials from educators and students
